If you Goggle gold/Copper mine strikes, there seems to be many that have been cropping up. I saw one where it only lasted one day. I am sure many of you are aware of the Worlds Largest gold mine has a bloody strike going on right now. I saw the Prez of this company talking on CNBC (?) the other day, he hopes it ends by New Years. When you ready the story on this particular Strike, it is bad. I attached the latest article on it that tells a good story on how much the Strike is impacting mining production, e.g. gold down 20 %.
I wonder when things start to get REAL bad economically how it will impact future Strikes ( around the World ). Makes the Jr Mining companies look like a great opportunity does it not?!!
This obvisouly lowers PM (and copper of course) production for each year in small to medium size increments. Just thought I’d share. I won’t get involved with the politics of the wage issues and the miners struggles,…..that is obvious to the reader.
